Take-away & Fishmonger
Sole Bay Fish Company was born when we started to sell our daily catch from our small hut in the harbour back in 2001. We have a fish mongers and take away from this water-side location. We look forward to seeing you at the Sole Bay Fish Company!
TAKE - AWAY
We have a take away service available at our harbour side location, so that you can take your favourite picks from the menu away with you as well as being able to sit outside and enjoy the views of Walbeswick.
We have a wider range of options here than in our sister shop in town so that you can take more than fish and chips to the beach. We create fish platters, oysters, garlic butter lobster, grilled crevettes and more!

FISHMONGER
Our fresh fish counter is stocked daily with a variety of the finest local catch of cod, plaice, lemon sole, dover sole, green & red mullet, gurnards, mackerel, herring, sardines, skate, rock, turbot, brill, and when in season we also have Brancaster mussels, samphire, smoked kippers and undyed haddock.
Our fishmongers prepare the fish to your requirements and can pack it on ice if you are travelling. We also take pre-orders.
On the other side of our counter we have ready-to-eat shellfish, crabs, shell on prawns, smoked kipper fillets, mackerel, sprats, anchovies, crayfish, Mersea rock oysters, gravalax & lobsters. Perfect for snacks when out on a walk or to take on a picnic! Our shellfish platters can be taken away too.
